Caroline's birthday party at home

Caroline had so much fun at her Windermere birthday party. Her tutu cupcakes turned out extra special and I think all of the kids attending had enough sugar to last them until they turn 16! Her birthday had a little bit of everything... coloring, eating, bubble popping, sandbox digging, water table splashing, dancing, playing dress-up, bounce housing, and some good ol' backyard fun.

Caroline walked around clapping and enjoyed watching the older kids run around her. She LOVED her cupcake! You'll notice from the photos that after digging into her cupcake we needed an outfit change:)

Happy Birthday sweet girl!

One, Two, Three!!!!!

WE'RE PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!! We are so excited about our little 10 week old peanut that we couldn't wait any longer to post our news! He or she has a beautiful little heart beat (got to see it beating last week) and is on schedule for delivery around November 15th!!!! We'll have triple the amount to be thankful for come this Thanksgiving.

Bowen has already told me that he would like a brother, but thinks it's a girl. I've had quite a bit of morning sickness (like w/ Caroline), but I have no gut feel for what this little one will be. I'll make sure to send updates as our peanut grows and we find out if it is a girl or boy:)

EASTER 2010

This year we surprised my grandfather by showing up at his church on Easter Sunday. This is the church that my parents were wed almost 38 years ago and that I was baptized in...many years ago:) Bowen and Caroline were angels during the service. Every time the choir stopped, Bowen would say loudly, "they stopped the music"(with disappointment in his voice). He did this EVERY time they finished a song. I'm confident that the entire congregation heard him.

After church service we headed to Mimi and Papa's backyard for an Easter egg hunt(another mini hunt), photos, and a cookout. It was a great Easter with the two kiddos having an appreciation for plastic eggs.

Celebrating Caroline's 1st year with a Tampa party

APRIL 2 our Sweet Caroline turned 1!!!!!

Caroline is ONE! ONE! I keep saying that to myself in hopes of believing it. Where in the world did that year go? She's so busy these days. She's walking all over, beginning to use sign language to communicate and will eat whatever you put in front of her. It seems like a faint memory when Bowen would eat anything we put in front of him. Boy, those days are over for now (better luck later, fingers crossed).

I hate to brag, but we've got the best baby EVER and we just had the best first year with her as an addition to our family. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAROLINE!!

We spent the morning of Caroline's birthday at Gator Fred's in Tampa (play place for kids).
