Who needs a babysitter when you've got Leroy?!?

Arrrrrgh!!!! A pirate party!!!!!

Yesterday afternoon we celebrated Evan Neville's 3rd birthday. The kids had so much fun outdoors. Bowen spent most of his time in the pirate bounce house, but took time to make a telescope and go on the treasure hunt. Kristy Neville (Evan's mommy) is so super creative.

Caroline has her pacifier and is ready for the pirate party!

Caroline's Photo Shoot

My friend Abby took a ton of photos of Caroline for her 8 month photos. Abby is a genious behind the camera. Here are just few of her photos...

Bowen's Very First Christmas Program

We could not have been more excited and curious about Bowen's 2 1/2 year old preschool Christmas program. His teachers sent home a list of songs in hopes that their little students would be more pollished come December 17th. At home, Bowen hummed the songs with which words he struggled and belted out songs he knew and loved. He even combined his singing talents with his guitar skills and drumming act. I LOVE IT!!!!

When I heard that the kids would be standing on stage for 10 songs my stomach turned. I could not imagine Bowen standing in front of a large crowd (not at all his thing) and singing for others' entertainment for that time spand. Well, we could not have been more impressed with his performance. No smile, no singing, but our little man stood still for a total of 10 minutes. We were blown away!!!!
Following the performance Bowen melted down in tears and stated, "that was so scary"!!!!

A Disney Christmas

Saturday we headed to Magic Kingdom to enjoy a park filled with Christmas music and decorations. Mimi and Papa joined us for a very long day with Mickey Mouse. Bowen and Caroline were angels as they barely napped the entire day. Right when Caroline would close her eyes, another parade would come by and she wouldn't miss a party for the world. We then headed over to Hollywood Studios to catch the Osborne Family Light Show. This was Bowen's third year at the light show. It's amazing that this will be Bowen's third Christmas. Boy, time flies!!!

We stopped in for a quick haircut at Magic Kingdom's barber shop.

Christmas Playdate

Bowen was so eager for his friends to arrive. Forget the play time, FEED ME SUGAR!!!!!!

I enjoyed making these little gingerbread treats for the kids. I bought the kit at JoAnn's Fabrics. SO easy and fun!

Gingerbread Man BEFORE the guests arrive.

Reindeer cookies (I swiped the idea from a Southern Living magazine)

Waiting for our friends to arrive

Tea time for Caroline.

I love playdates!

Gearing up for the ornament exchange.

Ornament Exchange in progress. The kids really enjoyed passing out their gifts and opening their ornaments.

Some of the kids enjoyed their craft time at the playdate. Mrs. Kristy brought ornaments for the kids to decorate. They were adorable! Chris helps Kaila decorate her snowman ornament.

Evan works away at creating his ornaments....

...while others form a rock band in Bowen's room (Bowen on the microphone, Wilson on the drums, and out of the photo - Yasmine dancing with a maraca)
I think all had a very merry time at their very merry Christmas playdate.

Mommy and Daddy's Night Out!!!

Aunt Lori and cousin Reagan headed to our house to watch Bowen and Caroline so that Brantley and I could dine out with 5 other couples at Old Hickory Steakhouse at the Gaylord Palms Resort. Bowen was so excited about spending time with Reagan that he could care less that Mommy and Daddy were leaving the house. He waved goodbye and turned back to his game with Reagan.

Brantley and I enjoyed a stroll through the Christmas decorations at the Gaylord Palms and met with our friends to enjoy dinner, a couples gift card swap, and a gag gift "Chinese Christmas" swap. WHAT A HOOT!!!! What happens at the table at Gaylord Palms stays at the table at Gaylord Palms. Let's just say that some of us will need to do a good job of hiding our gag gifts from the kiddos.

Okay...okay, we can share what we ended up with in the gag swap. I was a late selection number in the swap and ended up with a remote "farting machine". NICE! And poor Brantley ended up with a box of pregnancy tests. HAH!!!!

Santa Baby....

I could just eat her up! Caroline just got her second tooth and she's all smiles! We a gearing up for her very first Christmas.

Wilson Turns 3! A Carnival Party!!!!

Bowen's friend Wilson turned 3! We can't believe it! The boys are just growing up so fast. What a gorgeous day for a perfect outdoor carnival party. All of the kids loved the bounce house, cotton candy machine, popcorn machine, and clown.
